FACT-Oregon holding workshop for parents to understand
special education and their important role on the IEP Team
On Wednesday, May 3rd, FACT-Oregon is conducting its “Understanding Special Education and Your Role on the IEP Team” workshop at Lake Oswego High School from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The session will be in the school’s Staff Development Room in Building 2477 at 2501 County Club Road, Lake Oswego.
Participants will learn about:
- Introduction to key special education and important definitions
- Understanding their critically important roll on the team
- Process and development of the Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Healthy team dynamics
