 Hosted training by the Portland Police Bureau East Precinct, Sergeant Randy Teig.


The intent of the Neighborhood Training Program is to provide critical knowledge to community stakeholders so they know how to engage City, County and State government for the benefit of their community. Protocols, laws and procedures may change after the presentation of this information. However, this will provide a starting point for neighbors to engage appropriate government agencies.

The Office of Neighborhood Involvement Crime Prevention Program is working with the Portland Police Bureau in educating the community on community engagement with the City of Portland. The Crime Prevention Program's crime prevention coordinators will be attending and speaking about services and training available to the community to organize and support community partnerships in preventing crime and the fear of crime.
