Goldenball Basketball

Team registration forms have been posted for the 2019-2020 Goldenball season.


Team registration begins Monday, October 14 and goes through Friday, November, 22.  Goldenball league games are an 8 week season beginning Saturday, January 11- February 29, 2020. We offer a Jitters Jamboree the first two Saturdays in December as well as an optional end of season tournament the first weekend in March (these are additional entry fee's). Once a coach or team representative registers their team a coaches packet is mailed with several additional forms, such as, league rules, practice facility lists and contacts, parent/player code of conduct forms etc.

Upcoming Coaches Meeting for Registered Teams. Please attend one of the listed coaches meetings:

*Saturday, December 7, 10am-Noon at Beverly Cleary, Fernwood Campus (Cafeteria)

*Saturday, December 14, 10am-Noon at Beverly Cleary, Fernwood Campus (Cafeteria)

* Wednesday, January 8, 6pm-8pm at Beaumont Middle School (Cafeteria)

New and Returning Coaches; Optional Practice Technique Clinics ~ Highly recommended! (Dress to participate)

1) Basketball Basics: A fun, fast paced participation clinic, with emphasis on basketball fundamentals. Dribbling, passing, shooting and defense.

Wednesday, November 20; 6pm-8pm at Harvey Scott School Gym: 6700 NE Prescott ~ Enter through main doors on Prescott.

2) Beyond Basics: Combination drills such as give & go, screen & roll, the weave. Player positioning on offense and defense.

Wednesday, December 4; 6pm-8pm at Creston School Gym: 4702 SE Bush ~ Enter the driveway to the right of the school building and proceed onto the playground on go the far left when the gym is located.

 Game Day Reminders

  • Arrive at your game site 15 minutes prior to your start time. Game time is forfeit time. We schedule our games every hour and 10 minutes so each site has a full day of games.
  • 3rd grade-8th grade may start and end a game with 4 players. High school needs to start with 5 players and can end with 4 players.
  • Check in with the gym host at your site. They will have a sign in sheet for coaches.
  • Home team is the official book and visiting team must provide an adult to run the score clock.
  • Our league is recreational in nature, please remember that you are a role model for your team and spectators.
