Urban Forestry Commission

The Urban Forestry Commission is comprised of volunteers who have demonstrated an interest in the preservation of trees and the beautification of Portland. The Commission serves as an advisory group on forestry-related issues.

Environmental Services Tree Program

The Bureau of Environmental Services' Tree Program works with community partners and residents to plant and promote trees in the built environment for clean rivers, healthy watersheds, and livable, sustainable communities.


Verde's mission is to serve the community by building environmental wealth through Social Enterprise, Outreach, and Advocacy.

Friends of Trees

Friends of Trees brings people together to plant and care for trees throughout Portland, including street, private, and green space trees.

Hoyt Arboretum

Hoyt Arboretum encompasses 187 ridge-top acres, accessible by 12 miles of hiking trails. A place of beauty and serenity in all seasons, Hoyt Arboretum is Portland's museum of living trees!

Portland Fruit Tree Project

Portland Fruit Tree Project helps to harvest and distribute thousands of pounds of fruit from trees throughout Portland, registers fruit and nut trees, and educates on fruit tree care and fruit preservation.
