Tree Teams

What is a Tree Team?

Tree Teams are groups of dedicated volunteers from different neighborhoods or communities who care about their neighborhood/community trees. Tree Teams work with Urban Forestry staff to plan tree events in neighborhoods, such as educational workshops, neighborhood tree walks or tree stewardship activities- like tree pruning workdays or even community tree plantings. Tree Teams also represent trees at neighborhood association meetings and serve as a connection between Urban Forestry and neighbors.

Your friends at PP&R Urban Forestry offer support for Tree Teams by:

Find Your Neighborhood Tree Team- Connect with your Neighborhood Tree Team, learn about what they do, how to join or how to start a new Tree Team if your neighborhood doesn't yet have one.

Learn about the Neighborhood Tree Steward Program- Take your Tree Team leadership to the next level through this seven session course offered every fall.
