Pop-Up Arboreta

  • Pin Oak in Ventura Park

  • American Sycamore in Irving Park

  • Katsura tree in Laurelhurst Park

There are over 300 different kinds of trees in Portland’s parks! How many of them can you identify? Whether the answer is none, or all three hundred, you can discover the trees in your local park in a whole new way by visiting a Pop-Up Arboretum.

An arboretum is a fascinating collection of trees, and ours have temporary signs on some of the trees telling you who they are, with interactive and informative facts about them.
