Ready to renew and pay for your reservation for the 2016 - 2017 garden season? The garden policies have been updated so take time to review the garden policies and liability statement. By paying or accepting scholarship assistance for your plot, you agree to abide by the garden policies. *With your payment, enclose a payment form. Check or money orders should be written out to City of Portland with your garden name and plot number in the memo line.
- Request a scholarship:
We can offer scholarship assistance to gardeners with limited income. Please complete the scholarship form and return it to the community garden office.
If you would like to contribute to the scholarship fund to help support a fellow community gardener with limited income to grow healthy, fresh, and culturally significant produce for their families, you are welcome to include your contribution with your plot payment.
The City of Portland is a duly incorporated municipality in the State of Oregon exempt from federal taxation pursuant to 26 USC 115(2) as a tax exempt public corporation. Contributions to the City of Portland are defined as charitable contributions pursuant to 26 USC 170(c) (1), and are deductible as provided by federal law. Refund and Cancellation Policy
To cancel your plot and request a refund, contact the community garden office at email@example.com or call 503-823-1612. We will issue a full refund for cancellation and refund requests received within two weeks of payment. All fees will be retained by Portland Parks & Recreation for cancellations made after two weeks of payment.
Do you have a co-gardener?
A co-gardener is anyone who is gardening with you in your plot. If they have been listed as the co-gardener longer than anyone on the wait list, the co-gardener can become the primary gardener if you choose to release your plot.
To add a co-gardener, send their first name, last name, phone number, email, and mailing address to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 503-823-1612. Their information will be added to your file and community garden correspondence.
