Ross Island Natural Area

Canoe out to Ross Island and help plant native plants to improve wildlife habitat!

Join Portland Parks & Recreation and Willamette Riverkeeper for a morning of canoeing out to Ross Island to remove invasive Garlic Mustard in order to improve the plant community and wildlife habitat on the island. Bring your own canoe or kayak or reserve a place on one of our boats. No paddling experience necessary. Canoes, PFDs, paddles, and instruction will be provided. This event is free but RSVP IS REQUIRED and space is limited.
