3 Portland Chamber Music, Immigrant Composers: Inspiring Diversity. 7:00 PM. $15 suggested donation to the artists. Programming will include works by first generation immigrant composers, including Diego Luzuriaga (Ecuadorian-American), Bright Sheng (Chinese-American), Chinary Ung (Cambodian-American), Malek Jandali (Syrian-American) and a Portland based Cuban-American composer, Antonio Frexias, among others. Reception follows. Info: http://www.marchmusicmoderne.org. MMM returns with a 3-day commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Claude Debussy’s death.
