“The Tango & Salsa Dance Festival is another way that Portland Parks & Recreation advances our goal of engaging traditionally-underserved communities,” says Portland Parks Commissioner Amanda Fritz. “The outdoor dance and community celebration is part of our continuing efforts to embrace, understand and celebrate the different vibrant cultures in Portland. I’m proud of the Parks team for bringing together this family celebration of two spirited, fascinating Latin dances.”
