Tree Summit

In the fall after the end of each inventory season, we come together to share the season's findings, as well as the latest research and ideas for improving our neighborhoods' urban forests.

Tree Summit 2019 took place Saturday, October 26th at Floyd Light Middle School, in Portland's Mill Park neighborhood. This year's theme was Climate Change, Science, and Activism in Portland's Urban Forest. Presentations included research on how urban trees are adapting to changes in our climate, the latest on what's killing our native Western redcedars, and inspiring stories of activism in our community.
