Where to meet us!

Meeting spots for Summer 2017

Mt Tabor Park

Meeting Spot: Covered Picnic Shelter (across from the parking lot & playground)
From the intersection of SE 69th and Yamhill St, travel up the hill to the right past the stop sign, and the shelter will be on your left!
NOTE!!! Mt Tabor Park is closed to vehicles on Wednesdays! On that day, we strongly suggest using the SE 69th & Yamhill entrance to the park, as the others require a lot of walking! We will have staff meeting campers & families at the gate!

Hoyt Arboretum

Meeting Spot: Covered Pavilion (across from the Visitor's Center at 4000 SW Fairview Blvd)
From HWY 26, take the Zoo Exit, and travel up the hill (past the World Forestry Center). Go straight at the stop sign and continue up to the top of the hill where the road comes to a "T". Turn right onto SW Fairview Blvd and park in one of the lots.
PARKING FOR HOYT ARBORETUM: All of Washington Park is "Pay-to-Park". Download the 30-min temporary permit to drop-off and pick-up your camper. Print a copy and place it in the windshield of your car. Parking enforcement is vigilant - please print a pass, or if you can't, ask the staff to give you one on Monday morning! TEMPORARY PARKING PASS:

Sellwood Park/Oaks Bottom

Meeting Spot: Picnic Area I (adjacent to the parking lot near the intersection of SE 7th & SE Malden)
From SE Tacoma St, turn north on to SE 7th and travel past the playground to the parking lot near SE Malden St.

Marshall Park

Meeting Spot: The gravel lot on SW 18th Place. (You can also go in through SW 12 Dr, near the playground, but you will need to walk through the park to find the staff!) From SW Taylor's Ferry Rd, turn left onto SW 18th Pl.  (the sign is hard to see behind the willow tree!)

Leach Botanical Garden

Meeting Spot: At the upper meadow/tent area at Leach Garden. From Foster Rd, turn south on SE 122nd, and the meadow area is about 1 block in.
