Do you have experience as a teacher, educator, outdoor facilitator, and/or environmental educator? Do you have a degree in or are currently studying biology, ecology, environmental studies, education, or a related field? If you are over 21, have experience teaching outdoors, and hold a degree in a field of science or education (or are studying one of these fields), you might be the perfect candidate to become our lead field trip naturalist.

1. Field trip naturalists are responsible for designing and facilitating meaningful programs to participants who come from various racial, ethnic, gender, economic and religious backgrounds. Where are you in your path to understanding issues related to diversity and equity? What is your experience working with people from diverse communities, and how will you promote equity in the field trip program?
2. This position will spend some of the time developing new curriculum for the 2017-18 school year. Tell us about your experience designing age appropriate lessons for students and what you believe should exist in a “great” lesson plan.
