Lents Park Nature Patch

Nature Patch coming to Lents Park

Hazeltine Nature Patch May19

View of the nature patch at Hazeltine Park at SE 54th Avenue and Flavel Drive.

Portland Parks & Recreation is creating a nature patch at Lents Park - improving habitat for birds and pollinators, adding interesting natural features to explore, and creating places to enjoy. This new natural landscape will include lots of flowering native plants, split-rail fencing, and log and boulder seating.

The nature patch will be focused in underutilized areas around the community garden and playground. Landscaping on the project will take place this fall and planting will happen over the winter.

You can be a part of bringing this urban habitat to life!
