Join Portland Parks & Recreation and the Columbia Slough Watershed Council to plant native shrubs and trees in Wilkes Creek Headwaters natural area! Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy some breakfast treats and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The planting starts at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and guidance, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots – and be ready to have fun! How do I register? All individuals and groups are kindly asked to RSVP to save your spot(s) by emailing, calling, or texting Yoko Silk (firstname.lastname@example.org; 503-278-1341). Registration is highly recommended but not required. Meet at the intersection of NE 154th Ave and NE Fremont St.
We ask that youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.
Note: Please meet at the entrance at the intersection of NE 154th Ave and NE Fremont St. It is about an 8 min walk on uneven ground to the planting area.
