Environmental Education Program Policies about Late arrivals, Cancellations, No-shows and Photographs
To secure your dates – A partial payment of $50 per day of programming is required to secure your dates and must be received within 2 weeks of receiving this service agreement. (You are also welcome to pay the full amount if that is easier.)
Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit.
- Checks should be made out to “Portland Parks & Recreation” and can be mailed to our office (Attn: Field Trip, PP&R Environmental Education, 2909 SW 2nd Ave, Portland OR 97201).
- Credit card payments can be made by calling our office at 503-823-3601.
- Cash payments must be dropped off in person.
Late policy – If your group (or part of your group) arrives late, we will begin the program as soon as possible, however we will still be ending at the time agreed upon. This is in fairness to our staff who only work part-time and often have other obligations.
Field Trip/Ladybug Walk/Birthday Cancellation policy – We will issue a full refund for cancellations made at least seven (7) days prior to the day of programming. If a program is cancelled inside of the seven days, the $50 partial payment will not be refunded to cover the cost of program administration.
"No-show" policy – Groups that organize a field trip, secure the date on the calendar and then do not show up for the field trip will be charged a fee of $150 per day of programming. This is in fairness to our staff, who planned the lesson and also waited at the site for a group that never arrived. If a partial payment was made, you will be billed for the remaining $100.
