Registration Opens January 27 for Spring Break 2020

Youth Service providers, community partners, parents, mentors and other adult friends of teens: Portland Parks and Recreation's TeenForce invites YOU to connect your high-school age students to a diverse mix of post-secondary options with a week-long event including a multi-day college-exposure-based scavenger hunt in the Portland area, and a college and trades fair themed teen night.

Scavenger Hunt
March 20-26, 2020    
You pick the times, you pick the locations!

Spend Spring Break exploring and talking after-high-school plans as you complete tasks by visiting college campuses, answering trivia and taking group selfies. 

  • Adult captains register your team of up to twelve, 9th-12th graders by Monday, March 9. 
  • Read EDC Hunt guidelines & rules here and at the link on the left of your screen
  • Scavenger tasks will be posted at 4pm on Friday, March 20. 
  • Complete as many or as few tasks as you and your team choose from 4pm March 20 through Noon on March 26, 2020
  • Submit your official scoring sheet(s) by Noon on March 26, 2020 for credit in the competition.
  • Team participation acknowledgements, and winning team prizes will be handed out at the College and Trades Fair Teen Night on March 27. See below for details.

College and Trades Fair Teen Night

Join us for an exciting night of information on post-secondary options mixed with fun activities and prizes!  The fair will include representatives from local colleges and universities as well as trades schools, apprenticeship programs and even a section on HBCU's!  Neither participation in the scavenger hunt nor registration is required for this drop-in event.
