Per Oregon Governor Kate Brown’s executive order, all Portland Parks & Recreation (and all public) playgrounds, outdoor sports courts and fields (including, but not limited to, basketball courts, skateparks, tennis courts, soccer fields) are CLOSED and should be avoided. This is a necessary step and mandated by the Oregon Governor’s Executive Order, to support public health and to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Spread the love this Valentine’s Day! Help us plant roses at Peninsula Park Rose Garden. We will be digging holes and planting bareroot roses in the anticipation of more blooms in the summer. We provide gloves and shovels, but you are welcome to bring your own. Dress for the weather. This event is rain or shine!

Please meet at the bandstand in the Garden, located at 711 N Rosa Parks Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97217.

Youth under the age of 13 need to be supervised by an adult
