This is Portland’s current Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan, which expires in 2016. In it you’ll find information about Portland’s natural hazard risks and vulnerabilities, and you’ll also find key strategies for reducing that risk.
Action Items are a critical part of the Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan, because they’re the things you can actually see happen that make Portland more resilient, like improving water supply infrastructure or creating a landslide hazard map.
The City of Portland is working with Multnomah County to finalize the 2015 Climate Action Plan. The Climate Action Plan is the City and County’s strategy for dealing with the challenges we all face from a changing climate.
