Lenders and brokers are required to sign an MCC Lender/Broker Participation Agreement with PHB and pay a participation fee for the current funding allocation. Loan officers must attend a training session in order to become a certified loan officer and submit MCC applications.
The City of Portland is currently in its sixth allocation from the State of Oregon for the MCC Program June 20, 2017, which allows the popular first-time homebuyer program to continue in Portland by helping another 218 households.
