Portland is strongest when everyone has equal access to a safe, affordable place to call home in an opportunity-rich neighborhood near public transit, strong schools, quality health care and Portland’s many amenities. The City has taken bold steps to increase housing opportunity and eliminate disparities for protected classes, and has launched a multi-faceted public awareness campaign.
