WomenStrength Self-Defense Intermediate and Weapons Class
The Intermediate class is for women who have taken the Introductory WomenStrength class within the past year or have completed the WomenStrength Refresher class within the past 3 months, and are interested in taking their introductory self-defense skills to a new level! This class is 6.5 hours long (1/2 hour for lunch) and offered as 1 session on the weekend or 2 sessions during the weekdays.
The Intermediate class will involve combining strikes from the introductory class, drills that incorporate you the student holding a pad, multiple attacker practice, weapons defense drills and other exercises that build on the skills you have learned in the introductory class. The intensity level of this class is stepped up a notch from the first class both physically and emotionally, so we are limiting the class to 14 students and will have 5 instructors teaching the course.
The Weapons Focus is for women who have completed the Introductory class and the Intermediate class with preference for the refresher class as well. This class was developed by 2 WomenStrength instructors with over 30 years combined experience. This class is 3 hours long and will focus on the skills and mental acuity required if faced with a weapon. Weapons discussed are guns, knives and other weapons of opportunity.
