ANDREA MARIN

Case #82-81725

On October 8, 1982, an apartment manager went to the apartment on the 1600 block of SW Park Avenue at approximately noon when he discovered the apartment's resident, Andrea Marin, a 22-year-old white woman, deceased the floor in her front room. Police were called and an autopsy discovered that Ms. Marin, had died as the result of blunt force trauma.

Andrea Marin was a young Portland State University student at the time of her murder and it was reported that she had been selling and using drugs. Investigators learned that she frequently had many visitors at her apartment.  Investigators discovered that she had been murdered some time before noon on October 5. She was last heard from on October 4 at approximately 11:00 am.
