CHARLES HARVEY

Case #91-85089

At approximately 2:36 am on September 26, 1991, residents near the intersection of NE 13th Avenue and Roselawn Street heard gunshots and a car speeding away. Shortly after, Charles Harvey, a 36-year-old African-American male, was found bleeding on the front porch of a nearby house. Portland Fire Bureau responded and transported Mr. Harvey to a local hospital where he later died from a gunshot wound.

Witnesses reported seeing a 1970s white 4-door Buick sedan with three unidentified African-American men and a late 1960s to early 70s yellow Ford pickup with three unidentified white occupants parked nearby minutes before hearing gunshots.

At the time of his death, Mr. Harvey was employed as a window cleaner by a local company and was reported to have been a regular user of crack cocaine.
