KENNETH WELLS

On August 29, 1992, Kenneth Wells was exiting his vehicle with an associate on the 6100 block of NE 10th Avenue at approximately 5:20 am when a vehicle with 4 to 5 unidentified occupants pulled up and began firing at Kenneth and his associate. Kenneth, a 16-year-old African-American man, was hit multiple times and died at the scene.
The vehicle involved in the shooting has been described as being a solid colored 4-door sedan and fled the scene driving northbound on NE 10th Avenue.
Investigators believe this shooting to be gang-related since Kenneth Wells was a known Woodlawn Park Bloods associate.
