BoyStrength provide volunteers with hands on learning and real-life work experience overseeing city-wide programs. Volunteers assist with the administration and operations of programs, camps, workshops, new volunteer training and other events. We provide candidates with work experience opportunities, internships, capstone projects and in the past have partnered with numerous organizations such as WorkSource, Portland Community College and Portland State University.
Assist with the Operations of BoyStrength
BoyStrength is looking for volunteer administrative assistants to work closely with the program director. Tasks include, but are not limited to, overseeing the organization and maintenance of teaching materials, data entry and filing, helping to organize and schedule publicity events at fairs and festivals, representing BoyStrength at events, soliciting donations, updating media representation, and working closely with the BoyStrength Director, to oversee the growth and development of the program
Assist with Curriclum Development, Research, and Grant Writing
Are you a writer and do you want to use or develop your skills to help reduce violence in our communities?
Help us expand and develop a new program for boys. We need volunteers who like to work in a team and can assist with grant writing and research, and the overall operations of a boys program. We provide candidates with work experience opportunities, internships, capstone projects and in the past have partnered with numerous organizations such as WorkSource, Portland Community College and Portland State University.
