Word Is Bond Kick Of Banquet
June 28: Various Divisions
Officers attended this banquet to support the program that builds long-lasting relationships between African American youth and law enforcement to change stereotypes.

Ronald McDonald Summer Picnic
June 26:2018: Various Divisions
North, Transit, Canine and Motor Officers joined the Ronald McDonald House Charities Sumner Picnic on the Emanuel hospital campus. Officers interacted with kids, families, staff and volunteers. Transit K9 Minion was the star of the show.

Good in the Hood
June 24, 2018: Various Divisions
This year's event was back at King School and went great. There was an incredible attendance by the community. While the event was in North Precinct officers from North, the Gang Enforcement Team, East and Detectives all attended at different times.

Coffee/Coats/Shop with a Cop
June 23, 2018: East Precinct
Officers met with community members at Montavilla Park, along with Park Rangers and crime prevention personnel from the Office of Neighborhood Involvement.

PPB/Camp Rosenbaum Summer Camp
June 18-22: Various Divisions
Sworn and nonsworn members participated in this 5-day camp at Parkrose High School, coaching approximately 400 kids in various sports and subjects. In addition to community volunteers and partners, a myriad of agencies were represented, including Portland Parks and Recreation, Multnomah County Department of Community Justice, Beaverton Police, Gresham Police, Vancouver Police and MCSO.
