Cost is free and open to all interested in the Portland Police Officer position. Registration does not obligate you to attend.  Registration provides potential applicants the ability to attend any portion of the day that will address their specific questions or needs for the Portland Police Officer application process.

Photo identification is required.

The workshop will provide an overview of the Portland Police Bureau and an in-depth explanation of the application process and background investigation.  Background investigators will also be available to review individual applicants’ Personal History Statements.  Dress for the workshop is casual.

Portland Police Bureau members will be available to provide information and answer individual questions about the Portland Police Bureau and a career in law enforcement.
