Public Safety Call Response Information
Community Members are encouraged:
- To call 9-1-1 if there is an emergency happening right now,
- File an online report if possible,
- If it is not an emergency, call dispatch at (503) 823-3333,
- Call 2-1-1 for questions related to COVID-19.
Portland Police Bureau Call Response:
- PPB officers are currently taking ALL calls for service,
- Officers are responding in-person to calls where there is a life-safety issue,
- Officers are taking reports by phone whenever possible to reduce the possible spread of COVID-19,
- PPB has expanded on-line reporting. Community members can file reports on-line and get a copy of their report quicker and for free. For information, visit: https://www.portlandoregon.gov/police/cor/
- North and East Precincts are currently closed to the public. Central Precinct remains open and staffed,

Portland Fire & Rescue Call Response:
- All fire stations closed to the public to decrease exposure to Firefighter/EMTs
- For donations, consult www.multco.us, do not drop off at fire stations.
- Fire Marshal’s Office at 1300 SE Gideon Street has limited hours 12-3:30 pm
