Reward Offered in Huarleen Bain Homicide - Crime Stoppers Featured Case #21-7 (Photo)

The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve an October 2020 homicide.

On October 23, 2020, at approximately 10:40 p.m., the Portland Fire Bureau was dispatched to the area of NE 148th Avenue and San Rafael Street on the report of a burning car. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the fire in the vehicle, where they discovered a deceased male subject later identified as 40-year-old Huarleen Bain.

The Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy and determined Bain’s death was a homicide.

Any information about Bain’s death or about Bain’s activities and whereabouts prior to his death may be shared with investigators or anonymously to Crime Stoppers of Oregon.
