The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve a 2013 homicide.

On October 31, 2013, at 10:02 a.m., Portland Police Bureau officers responded to the 3800 block of Northeast Shaver Street on the report of a person slumped in a vehicle.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and determined that the person was deceased. After a preliminary investigation, Homicide detectives were called to the scene.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner determined that the victim, 32-year-old Jose Manuel Alvarez-Madrigal, died of a gunshot wound.

No witnesses have come forward and there is no suspect information in the case.
