Laray Seamster Homicide Remains Unsolved After Six Years - Crime Stoppers Featured Case #15-40 (Photo)

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve the 2015 homicide of a 26-year-old man in North Portland's Eliot Neighborhood.

On November 11, 2015, at 3:16 p.m., Portland Police Bureau officers responded to the report of a shooting at North Vancouver Avenue and Fargo Street.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located the victim, 26-year-old Laray William Seamster, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Seamster was transported to a Portland hospital for treatment but died shortly after arrival.

Witnesses have told police that two younger black males were involved in the shooting and ran out of the area, possibly leaving in a silver vehicle.
