The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve a homicide that occurred in the Hazelwood Neighborhood of Northeast Portland.
On Monday, November 23, 2020 at 1:29 a.m., Portland Police Bureau officers were dispatched to the report of a person down in the 200 block of Northeast 122nd Avenue. When officers arrived in the area, they located a gunshot victim who ultimately died as a result of the injuries.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and determined that the shooting victim, 35-year-old Ian Alexander Phillips, died as a result of a gunshot wound and ruled the death a homicide.
