PPB Seeks Public Input on Directives (Photo)

The Portland Police Bureau directs member action by establishing policies, procedures, and rules, as found within Directives. The Bureau is in the process of reviewing its Directives and seeks community input.

Currently, the Bureau is asking for comments regarding the following Directive(s).

Second Universal Review: 5/1/23 – 5/31/23

• Directive 0600.00, Air Support Unit Operations
• Directive 0631.60, Premises Entry
• Directive 0810.10, Bureau Contact with Members of Immigrant Communities
• Directive 0810.20, Diplomatic and Consular Immunity (New)

Community members are encouraged to read these Directives at https://www.portland.gov/police/directives and follow the link at the bottom of the directive to provide comments. This webpage also enables community members to sign up to receive email notifications when new or revised directives are posted.
