The victim in this homicide is identified as 28-year-old Gage Vincent Lewis (Vitchell). Lewis' family has been notified of his death, and they have provided the attached photograph for public release. Family requests privacy at this time.

The suspect in this shooting homicide near the Holladay Park Transit Station has been arrested.

31-year-old Andre J. Poston has been arrested and booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center. Poston has been charged with Murder in the Second Degree, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

A homicide investigation is underway after a shooting in the Lloyd District neighborhood.

On Friday, October 14, 2022 at 4:21p.m., North Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1100 block of Northeast Holladay Street. When they arrived, they located an injured male victim. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he died.

The suspect or suspects left the scene and no arrests have been made. No suspect information is being released at this time.

The Portland Police Homicide Unit is responding to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, Northeast 11th Avenue is closed between Northeast Multnomah Street and Northeast Holladay Street. MAX train service is also stopped in the area.
