Early this morning, Tuesday February 22, 2011, William Bennett was located by the Port of Portland Police at Portland International Airport. Mr. Bennett has been safely returned to his residence.

Detectives from the Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit are asking for the public's help in locating 23-year-old William Bennett, who is from Milwaukie, Oregon. Bennett suffers from a serious medical condition, which, if left untreated, would likely jeopardize his immediate health and safety. Persons having contact with Bennett might notice that he will seem to communicate at a much younger level than his stated age.
Bennett walked away from his care provider, at approximately 12:15 pm, this afternoon Monday February 21, 2011, and was last seen in the 600 block of Southeast 139th Avenue, in Portland. Numerous Portland Police officers, along with a state-certified Search & Rescue canine team, searched for Bennett, but did not locate him. Bennett is familiar with both TriMet and MAX.
Bennett is described as a white male, 23 years old, who stands 5'08" tall and weights 220 pounds. He has short, black hair and brown eyes, and currently has a scruffy beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a red and blue jacket, grey pants, white tennis shoes and a camouflage baseball cap.
Anyone who knows of Bennett's whereabouts is asked to immediately call 9-1-1. Anyone with additional information may contact Detective Mike Weinstein, at (503) 823-0446.
