Stabbing in Downtown Portland-Victim Sustains Non-Life Threatening Injuries

On Thursday, March 28, 2019, at 8:05 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the 300 block of Southwest Broadway Boulevard on the report of two subjects bleeding.

When officers arrived they located one injured adult male and another person attempting to assist the injured male. The victim appeared to have been stabbed and was provided emergency medical aid by responding emergency medical personnel. The injured man was transported by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment of what is believed to be a non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers determined the subject was injured elsewhere, but are still looking for a crime scene. Preliminary information suggests a disturbance may have happened near Southwest Ankeny Street to Burnside from 1st to 2nd Avenues. It is uncertain exactly where the incident occurred at this time. The incident is believed to have involved a group of White males in their teens to twenties. Additionally, the incident was alleged to have occurred about 20-30 minutes prior to police being called.
