Stabbing in Downtown Portland-Victim Sustains Non-Life Threatening Injuries

On Sunday, March 31, 2019, at 6:13 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to Northwest 6th Avenue and Northwest Flanders Street on the report of a subject who had been stabbed.

When officers arrived they located one injured adult male. The victim appeared to have been stabbed and an officer provided emergency medical aid. The injured man was transported by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was described as a Black male, tall, thin, and wearing dark clothing.
