PPB Releases Investigative Files Regarding Officer-Involved Shooting

On Monday, October 14, 2019, the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office announced that a Grand Jury returned a not true bill regarding the use of force by Officer Gary Doran on July 30, 2019. Now that the Grand Jury has concluded, the Police Bureau has published the investigative files on the Bureau's Open Data page, which can be found here: https://www.portlandoregon.gov/police/article/744440As with all uses of deadly force, the Bureau has been conducting an internal review of the entire incident and the case will go before the Police Review Board (PRB), which is comprised of community members, Bureau members and representatives from the Independent Police Review Division.
