Traffic Officers with PPB's Major Crash Team continue to investigate an early morning crash involving two vehicles.

Preliminary information suggests the driver of a Sebring sedan was travelling Eastbound on North Lombard Street and crossed into the on-coming traffic lanes, colliding with a Toyota truck, which was travelling Westbound.

The adult male driver of the Sebring was pronounced deceased at the scene and investigators believe it is likely there was a medical event preceding the collision.

The driver of the Toyota truck was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic Officer Enz is the primary investigator. If anyone has information about this case, contact Officer Enz at (503) 823-2208 or at david.enz@portlandoregon.gov

Officers are hoping to re-open traffic within the hour.
