UPDATE: Homicide Victim and Suspect Identified, Mother and Daughter (Photo)

The victim in this case has been identified as 61 year old Nadezhda Volobuev. The Oregon State Medical Examiners Office determined the cause of death to be a stabbing and ruled the case a homicide.

The suspect has been identified as 29 year old Angelina Volobuev, the victim's daughter. Angelina Marie Volobuev is in custody charged with Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

The female victim of this incident was pronounced deceased and Homicide Detectives are reviewing the circumstances surrounding her death. A suspect has been arrested.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office is the lead agency to determine the cause/manner of death.

This remains an active investigation and more details will be provided as they become available.



On Friday, July 10, 2020, at 9:03 a.m., East Precinct Officers responded to a welfare check call in the 16300 block of Southeast Foster Road regarding a person who was reported to be injured.

Investigators are responding to the scene and there is currently no identified risk to the public.
