Man Shot in Montavilla Neighborhood During Early Morning Hours of August 5

On August 5, 2020, at 3:16 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the 9100 block of Southeast Division Street to investigate a report of someone shot. Officers arrived and found an adult male who had been shot in the stomach. The victim was uncooperative with officers and would not provide details of the incident. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Given the circumstances of the incident, there is no threat to the community.
