Shooting Investigation Underway in Boise Neighborhood, One Individual Injured

On September 15, 2020, at approximately 11:08 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 600 block of North Fremont Street. Officers arrived on scene and located a male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. Officers applied a tourniquet to the victim's leg in an effort to stop the bleeding and the victim was then transported to an area hospital by ambulance. The victim's medical status will not be released at this time.

Currently, there have been no suspects apprehended.

The PIO is not responding to the scene.

If anyone has information about the shooting and has not been contacted by investigators, they are asked to call the non-emergency line at 503-823-3333.

An update will be provided if appropriate for the investigation.
