The motorcycle rider involved in the crash on September 28, 2020 has been identified as 35 year-old Nathaniel Kimo Entriken. Mr. Entriken's family has been notified.
Members of the Major Crash Team determined that the speed of the motorcycle was a factor in this crash and that the motorcycle was stolen.
This is the 38th traffic fatality in the City of Portland this year.

The crash in the Woodlawn neighborhood today, Monday, resulted in a fatality. Preliminary investigation indicates that a motorcycle struck the passenger side of a car in the intersection of Northeast Ainsworth Street and Northeast Grand Avenue. Medical crews responded but the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. At this time no arrests have been made. The identity of the deceased motorcycle rider will be released at a later time.

On September 28, 2020 at approximately 1:01 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the 6000 block of Northeast Ainsworth Street on reports of an injury accident. The Major Crash Team (MCT) was activated and is leading the investigation.
Northeast Ainsworth is closed from Northeast 7 to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
No additional information is available at this time. The PIO is not responding to the scene.
