Stabbing Investigation Underway in Portsmouth Neighborhood, Two Individuals Injured

On October 29, 2020, at approximately 4:19 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the 4800 block of North Lombard Street on reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived on scene and learned a physical altercation occurred between a suspect and two victims. The suspect stabbed both the victims during the altercation. The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are being seen at an area hospital. They are expected to make a full recovery.

The suspect has not been arrested at this time.

The PIO is not responding to the scene.

If anyone has information about the stabbing and has not been contacted by investigators, they are asked to call the non-emergency line at 503-823-3333.

An update will be provided if appropriate for the investigation.
