PPB Responds to Another Early Morning Shooting in the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood (Photo)

On December 1, 2020, at 4:20 a.m., officers from the East Precinct responded to the report of a shooting in the 3800 block of Southeast 136th Avenue. Officers arrived to the location and located evidence of gunfire. Officers recovered 18 casings and discovered two residences hit by gunfire.

This is the second shooting at the same location in 24 hours.

This investigations are ongoing and additional information will be released at the direction of investigators.

This is the first shooting the Portland Police Bureau has responded to for December and 779 since January 1 of this year. PPB responded to a total of 393 for all of 2019. Crime stats on shootings can be found here: https://www.portlandoregon.gov/police/81203
