UPDATE: December 31st Homicide Victim Identified

The homicide victim in the December 31, 2020 shooting has been identified as 18-year-old Ja'mere Malik Brown

Brown's family has been notified of his death and provided the photo.

The shooting victim found on New Year's Eve at Northeast Alberta Street and Northeast Mallory Avenue was killed in the incident. An autopsy determined that he died by homicide by gunshot wound. His identity is not being released at this time. No suspect information is available.

Two victims were shot in North Portland Thursday evening.

On Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 10:29p.m., North Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of someone shot at Northeast Alberta Street and Northeast Mallory Avenue. Officers arrived and located two people injured. The severity of their injuries is not being released at this time.
