Shooting in the South Waterfront, 1 Injured

A victim is in the hospital with an injury after a shooting in the south waterfront area of Downtown Portland.

On Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 3:36a.m., Central Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of gunfire heard around the Ross Island Bridge. Officers then learned that a victim with a gunshot wound walked into a hotel in the 1400 block of Southwest Naito Parkway. Officers responded and determined that the victim, a 32-year-old male, had been shot in the back while in a car in the area of South River Drive and South Hall Street. He walked to the ambulance and was transported to a hospital.

No suspect information is being released. The investigation is continuing.
