Man Seriously Hurt During Shooting in St. Johns Neighborhood (Photo)

A shooting left one with serious injuries in the St. Johns Neighborhood Saturday night.

On Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 8:09p.m., North Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 8900 block of North Lombard Street. When they arrived they located evidence of gunfire. Officers learned that a patient was enroute to the hospital by private vehicle. Officers met the patient, a male adult, at the hospital. He is being treated for serious wounds, but they are not believed to be life threatening.

There is no suspect information.

During the investigation, North Lombard Street was closed at North Chicago Avenue (photos).
