Update: Portland Police Bureau Gang Team Detectives have arrested 18-year-old Mikey Hammick, 46-year-old Bilal Shamshudin and 21-year-old Dechavien Parks in connection with yesterdays shooting.

They are all in custody at the Multnomah County Detention Center on a Detainer charge and additional charges will be added shortly.

The investigation is continuing and no additional details are available at this time.

On, Monday, February 20, 2012 at 1:53 p.m. Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to a call of shots fired at 150th and Southeast Powell. Police dispatch received numerous calls of shots fired in the area and one caller indicated that a window had been shot out. Prior to arrival witnesses told dispatch that 3 African American males all ran eastbound on Powell toward an apartment complex on Southeast 151st following the shots. There no reports that anyone has been injured at this time.

Arriving on scene officers learned that #1 suspect was described at male, African American, 30?s, with braided black hair. #2 suspect is described as male, African American with a dark completion, black braided hair and was last seen wearing a blue P coat. #3 suspect is described as a African American male, light skinned and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt under a jacket. The suspects are believed to be armed with handguns and a rifle.

Officers on the call have established a perimeter in the area and are working to locate and arrests the suspects.
